Decision Support

Housing Managers are often reliant on standard reports from housing management systems where data is limited and the presentation fixed. Reports are generally compiled using report writers that require a degree of technical knowledge and rarely provide comparisons or trend based analysis.

Decision Support can empower managers with the ability not only to select from a range of professional detailed, pre-written reports, but also to create their own via a simple point and click interface using a graphical 'road map' of the data held within the system.

'Out of the box' reports provided include those designed to aid completion of local authority statutory returns such as the quarterly P1E return and HIP forms. RSLs will benefit from the Housing Corporation Regulatory and Statistical Return as well as New Lettings and Sales logs for CORE monitoring. A range of 'Best Value Performance Indicator' reports are also provided.

Of equal benefit is the provision of a series of 'decision support areas' based around a housing organisation's key business areas. This allows access to data held within the system using data road maps to easily locate the data required for inclusion within a report.

Advanced options enable the creation of hypercube models for mutli-dimensional analysis conforming to Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) standards. Reports may be accessed via the internet or intranet pages, broadening the accessibility of the information contained within the system to remote workers and committee or board members.
