Benefits Self Service Module
Capita Direct Benefits provides benefit claimants with online access to details of individual benefit claims.
Claim information includes full details of awards, payments made, payment schedules and overpayments, along with assessment and circumstances used in the calculations.
Information can be accessed directly through the Council website or indirectly through the Citizen's Advice Bureau or other agency authorised to assist the claimant. Where Data Protection legislation allows, information can be provided to other parts of the Council either over the intranet or through the Capita Direct CRM in a corporate call centre environment.
Should further information be required, this can be requested or provided using online interactive forms. For example the changes in circumstances can be notified and applications for Council Tax or Housing Benefits requested.
An online interactive claim form is available that displays mandatory and personally relevant questions based on answers given in certain sections. The form can be saved at any time, at which point the applicant receives a reference number and password to allow them to re-access and complete the form as required.
