What's on the agenda at this year's conference?

Our conference agenda* is nearly finalised and features a host of entertaining and inspiring sessions. Anthony Lilley OBE, will share his tech expertise, followed by a series of engaging and thought-provoking speaker sessions. The opening night will also feature a performance from 'The new poster-boy for British comedy magic', Pete Firman.

The format of our conference means you can choose which sessions are most important to your organisation, getting the most out of the conference, while networking with other stakeholders and Capita staff.

Agenda - 11 October
The conference will commence in the early evening with a drinks reception, followed by a three-course dinner in the lavishly decorated banqueting hall
A comic performance of magic will ensue, conducted by Pete Firman and the evening will end with a disco and dancing, so don't forget to bring your dancing shoes.

Breaking conference news! We're proud to announce Anthony Lilley OBE will be providing a keynote speech at this year's conference!

Having worked on diverse projects including interactive TV for the BBC, games for PlayStation, events for the Royal Opera House, and with companies including Camelot, Google and Procter and Gamble, Anthony has a unique view on technological disruption in a variety of industries. However he advises caution in assuming all problems can be solved with data and technology and provides a pragmatic look at how things might change.

Pete Firman confirmed as evening entertainment at this year’s Housing Conference

We’re pleased to announce Pete Firman, magician and comedian, will be joining this year’s Housing Conference as our after dinner entertainment.

About Pete Firman

Pete is recognised as the UK’s leading comedian/magician. His skill for fusing magic and comedy has made him one of the most in demand magicians working on British television. His portfolio includes appearances on BBC1’s prime-time Saturday night programme ‘The Magicians’, ITV1’s ‘The Next Great Magician’, ‘Derren Brown’s 3D Magic Spectacular’ (Channel 4) and ‘The Secret World of Magic’ (Sky One), among many others. Pete is kicking off his UK tour in June this year and has also performed 10 years in a row at the ‘Edinburgh Comedy Festival’
