Working together to put the customer at the heart of service delivery
In 2007, Capita entered into a 15-year strategic partnership with Swindon Borough Council. The aim of the partnership was to transform services for residents by putting them at the heart of service delivery, while delivering a challenging cost savings target. The true partnership approach to the relationship has meant that Capita and Swindon have been able to evolve and develop their relationship to meet the needs of today's changing environment.
Five years on, and with the backdrop of unprecedented austerity measures faced by all local authorities, the Council and its citizens are seeing positive differences being made to local services and the partnership is on track to deliver £18m in savings over its lifetime.
