Achieving efficiencies through mobile visit management at Rochford District Council

Rochford District Council is a coastal district in Essex with a population of approximately 83,300. The council is a long-standing user of Capita’s software solutions, and in 2014 decided to upgrade to Capita’s latest mobile solution, including Visit Manager, providing improved functionality and utilising new mapping technology.
 

Local authority visiting officers play a crucial role in providing accurate information to the revenues and benefits teams. With Capita's Visit Manager, officers are able to plan and schedule visits effectively, minimising wasted time and fuel on unnecessary travel. Reducing the need to visit the office and manually update back office records also makes best use of their time and any requirement for manual keying.
