Acquisition of IBS OPENSystems Ltd. housing business paves way for further investment.
Capita Software Services today announces plans to ensure its strong position as a long-term partner for housing customers following the successful acquisition of IBS OPENSystems Ltd, housing business unit. This announcement comes after confirmation that the Competition Commission has cleared Capita’s acquisition of the IBS OPENSystems Ltd. housing business unit. This follows the divestment of the revenues and benefits business unit ordered by the Commission in June this year.
Confirmation by the Commission allows Capita to create a significantly strengthened housing business unit, enabling it to implement enhanced investment and development plans for the housing marketplace. The company will engage in ongoing dialogue with its customers and the broader social housing market to develop the next generation of housing management applications and solutions.
